I notice that there is only one follower on this blog. I could get discouraged, but I know that there are more people reading it!
We finally made it to Florida--took us 8 days!! My son asked me a couple days ago if we even knew where Florida is.
I cannot get a good concept of how long it takes to make this drive from home since we have made so many stops along the way.
It is interesting to me to see how we change the type of clothes we wear as we get more south. When we left Maryland, I was wearing corduroy pants, a long sleeved shirt and a fleece vest. Later, I changed to light weight slacks and a short sleeved shirt. Today I wore capris with a tank top layered under a shortsleeved button up shirt. BUT, the temps are only going to be in the high 50's tomorrow so back to warmer clothes for a day. It is supposed to return to the 70's.
We arrived in St. Augustine early this afternoon and will be here for two nights. Today we took a carriage ride. The weather is warm--73 degrees early this afternoon.
It's nice to see flowers blooming when everything looks so dead to me at home during this season.
Well I'm so glad you PACKED for the weather changes! LOL! The flowers do look really pretty! All I see out MY window right now is a GIGANTIC stack of lumber with a blue tarp over it!

I haven't been to St. Augustine since I was about 9 years old! I'm looking forward to pics from this tour! :)
